Deletion of User Account and Data in iKelp POS Mobile
The user can request the deletion of their data in the iKelp POS Mobile application (or in its web interface) after logging into their user profile. The deletion will be carried out automatically 7 days after submitting the request. During the waiting period, it is still possible to revoke this request. After the deletion and erasure of data, it is no longer possible to restore them. Therefore, if you have unused coupons or other benefits stemming from membership and user access, carefully consider whether you really want to delete your account.
Procedure for deleting a user account and data
Follow the steps below to submit a request for account deletion.
- Log in to the application or the website for the specific iKelp POS Mobile.
- Display the user profile overview (1).
In the application, after logging in, the link to the profile is also found in the navigation menu Profile .
- By clicking on My Profile (2), the details of your profile will be displayed.
- Continue by pressing Delete (3), this will take you to the details of the consent to data processing.
- Then select Request Deletion (4).
- Finally, you will be asked if you agree with this action. To confirm, press OK (5).
- In your profile, it will display when the request was received and when it will be executed (6). The 7-day interval is given in case this action was done by mistake or if you reconsider and want to cancel the execution by clicking on Cancel (7).
By doing this, you have instructed the deletion of your account and personal data that you have entered into the application. The deletion will occur automatically on the specified day in the evening hours. After execution, there is no way to restore these data to their original state. Only you can revoke/cancel this deletion request.
The iKelp POS Mobile application is used by various restaurants, businesses, or shops. If you have registered on multiple ones, it is necessary to submit and execute this deletion request on each one, as these data are not interconnected, and each business or shop has its own records and data that it processes and protects as a company. At each business, you have agreed to GDPR terms, which may differ. Revoking consent to GDPR terms will also trigger the process of deleting the user account and associated data. Also, if you have questions or need help with data deletion, it is necessary to contact the respective business, where you can always find contacts on the relevant page where you registered, in the Contacts section.
Data that will be deleted
The system will automatically delete all personal data for the given account. If there are data that were linked to this account and contact, these data are removed if possible; if their retention is necessary for the company's accounting purposes, these data are anonymized so that it is not possible to subsequently identify the person or otherwise identify them.
Data such as orders are automatically deleted after one month. Financial documents are retained according to the applicable laws of the country in which the business, shop, or restaurant operates.
